What is Ultimate Smart Money Concepts?

The SMC Multi Timeframe Marker helps traders see important Smart Money Concepts signals from higher timeframes directly on their active chart. It pulls key elements such as structure shifts, liquidity points, imbalances, and major swing levels from timeframes like H1, H4, or Daily and displays them in a clear and organized way.

This gives traders a big-picture view without having to switch charts, making it easier to understand where higher timeframe pressure is building and where strong reactions may occur. By combining higher timeframe signals with lower timeframe execution, traders can create cleaner confluence and avoid taking trades against major levels.

The tool is fully customizable, allowing users to choose which timeframe markers to display and how they appear visually. This gives you a simple, powerful way to trade with the broader market narrative while keeping your chart clean and easy to read.

How to Configure Ultimate SMC?

Display Controls

Global toggles to enable/disable major features:

• Show Market Structure - Enable/disable all market structure lines and labels
• Show Premium Discount Range - Enable/disable premium/equilibrium/discount zones
• Show Order Blocks - Enable/disable all order block displays
• Show Fair Value Gaps - Enable/disable all FVG displays
• Show Liquidity Sweeps - Enable/disable all liquidity sweep lines

Timeframe Selection

Define the three timeframes used throughout the indicator:

• Higher Timeframe (HTF) - Default: 240 (4H) - Used for major trend analysis
• Mid Timeframe (MTF) - Default: 60 (1H) - Used for intermediate structure
• Chart Timeframe (LTF) - Automatically uses current chart timeframe

Important: Must follow: HTF > MTF > Chart TF (e.g., 4H > 1H > 15min)

Market Structure Settings

HTF Market Structure (MS) Settings

• Toggle - Enable/disable HTF market structure display
• HTF MS Type - Choose between Conservative and Aggressive
  • Conservative - Waits for candle close beyond swing point (higher quality, fewer signals)
  • Aggressive - Triggers on wick breaking swing point (more signals, faster reaction)
• Colors - Set colors for bullish/bearish structure lines
  • Bullish Color - Color for uptrend structure lines (default: green)
  • Bearish Color - Color for downtrend structure lines (default: red)
• Line: (1) Style - Choose line style: Solid, Dashed, or Dotted
• Line: (2) Width - Set line thickness (1-5)
• Label: (1) Size - Choose label size: Tiny, Small, Normal, or Large
• Label: (2) Show - Toggle to show/hide price labels on structure lines
• Extend - How far structure lines extend forward (max 200 bars)

Market Structure Table Analysis

Real-time market structure dashboard:

• Show Structure Table - Toggle to show/hide the analysis table
• Position - Choose table position: Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right
• Size - Choose table size: Tiny, Small, Normal, or Large

Table Contents:

• Timeframe - Shows which timeframe (HTF/MTF)
• Trend - Current trend direction (Bullish/Bearish)
• Type - Break type (BOS = continuation, CHoCH = reversal)
• Retracement - Current retracement percentage from last swing

Order Block Settings

Higher Timeframe Order Block

• Display OBs of Timeframe - Toggle to show/hide HTF order blocks
• OB Type - Choose between Wick or Body
  • Wick - Order Block extends from candle's high to low (wider zone)
  • Body - Order Block extends only from open to close (tighter, more conservative)
• Mitigate OB when - Toggle mitigation tracking on/off
• Mitigation Type - Choose how strictly blocks are marked as filled:
  • Close Inside - Block filled when candle closes inside the zone
  • Wick Inside - Block filled when wick touches inside the zone
  • Close > 50% - Block filled when close crosses midpoint
  • Wick > 50% - Block filled when wick crosses midpoint
  • Close Outside - Block filled when close exits opposite side completely
  • Wick Outside - Block filled when wick exits opposite side completely
• Show Label - Toggle to show/hide OB labels
• Colors - Set colors for three block states:
  • Bullish OB - Color for active bullish order blocks (default: teal)
  • Bearish OB - Color for active bearish order blocks (default: red)

• Mitigation Type - Same options as Order Blocks:
  • Close Inside, Wick Inside, Close > 50%, Wick > 50%, Close Outside, Wick Outside
• Show Label - Toggle to show/hide FVG labels
• Colors - Set colors for three FVG states:
  • Bullish FVG - Color for active bullish gaps (default: green)
  • Bearish FVG - Color for active bearish gaps (default: red)
  • Mitigated FVG - Color for filled gaps (default: gray)
• Display maximum of - Maximum number of active FVGs shown (1-25) - Shows zones closest to current price
• Max Mitigated - Maximum number of filled FVGs to keep displayed (1-10)
• Extend forward by - How far FVG boxes extend into future (1-200 bars)

Intermediate Timeframe Fair Value Gap

Premium & Discount

Divides market structure range into three zones:

• Premium & Discount of - Choose which timeframe to base zones on: HTF, MTF, or LTF
• Colors - Set colors for three zones:
  • Premium - Upper half resistance zone (default: red)
  • Equilibrium - Midpoint balance zone (default: gray)
  • Discount - Lower half support zone (default: green)
• Label: (1) Size - Choose label size: Tiny, Small, Normal, or Large
• Label: (2) Show - Toggle to show/hide zone labels
• Line: (1) Width - Set line thickness (1-5)
• Line: (2) Extend - How far lines extend forward (max 200 bars)

Time Based Liquidity Sweeps

Tracks highs/lows of time periods and marks when they're swept:

H1 (Hourly) Sweeps

• Toggle - Enable/disable H1 liquidity tracking
• Prefix - Label prefix (default: "H1-")
• Color - Line and label color (default: yellow)
• Line Style - Choose: Solid, Dotted, Dashed, Arrow Left, Arrow Right
• Extend - How far lines extend after sweep (max 200 bars)

H4 (4-Hour) Sweeps

Same options as H1 (default prefix: "H4-")

PD (Previous Day) Sweeps

Same options as H1 (default prefix: "PD-", default style: Solid)

PW (Previous Week) Sweeps

Same options as H1 (default prefix: "PW-", default style: Solid)

PM (Previous Month) Sweeps

Same options as H1 (default prefix: "PM-", default style: Solid)

Session-Based Liquidity Sweeps

Tracks highs/lows of trading sessions:

Asia Session

• Toggle - Enable/disable Asia session tracking (default: off)
• Session Time - Trading session hours (default: 1900-0400)
• Display Settings:
  • Prefix - Label prefix (default: "AS-")
  • Color - Line and label color (default: yellow)
  • Line Style - Choose: Solid, Dotted, Dashed, Arrow Left, Arrow Right (default: Dashed)
  • Extend - How far lines extend (max 200 bars)

London Session

• Toggle - Enable/disable London session tracking (default: on)
• Session Time - Trading session hours (default: 0300-1200)
• Display Settings: Same as Asia (default prefix: "LN-")

New York Session

• Toggle - Enable/disable NY session tracking (default: on)
• Session Time - Trading session hours (default: 0800-1700)
• Display Settings: Same as Asia (default prefix: "NY-")

Sydney Session

• Toggle - Enable/disable Sydney session tracking (default: off)
• Session Time - Trading session hours (default: 1700-0200)
• Display Settings: Same as Asia (default prefix: "SY-")

Note: Session sweeps only work on charts ≤ 1H timeframe

On-Screen Notification

• Notification Size - Choose error text size: Tiny, Small, Normal, or Large
